Sailing in Style and luxury

For over 20 years, Sailing Adventures has been conducting cruising and racing events in Australia and around the world.

Recently, Sailing Adventures has secured a three-year lease on a 57ft Swan sailing yacht, “WHITE SWAN”. Swan is one of the premier yacht builders in the world and has held the mantle for many years with good reason, they are built to last several lifetimes living and breathing the ocean. Swan combines this with great beauty and exhilarating sailing performance.

The “White Swan” is in commercial survey and will be used to promote yachting by being involved in premier Queensland race regattas as well as pleasure cruises around the Whitsundays, Queensland’s east coast from the Gold Coast to Townsville including Moreton Bay and Brisbane River.

Our Sponsor – Green Beacon

For the past 5 years Green Beacon has been the beer sponsor for our Hamilton Island Race Week Regatta. This has been a wonderful partnership and has steered many of our patrons to become Green Beacon devotees.

We are proud to announce that Green Beacon will be the primary sponsor for the Whits Swan for 2023.

The 2023 Program

The yacht will be promoted for cruising, yacht race regattas, corporate events, river cruises, gourmet cruises, and more. Throughout the year White Swan will be stationed at the Coral Sea Marina in Airlie Beach from late April to October. She will then venture south to her summer home at Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron in Manly.

Whilst in the Whitsundays she will do Whitsunday cruises in and around the Barrier Reef, specialised packages, day charters, corporate days as well as combined charters for specific groups. August will see the boat in all her glory and race livery competing in the two greatest yacht regattas in the state…. Airlie Beach Race Week & Hamilton Island Race Week. These regattas attract thousands of sailing enthusiasts from all parts of the world and have huge national media coverage.

Whilst at the Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron, she will do Moreton Bay charters, Brisbane River cruises, WAGS day races (Wednesday Afternoon Go Sailing). WAGS racing has been a tradition in yacht clubs all over the world for many years and has been seen by many to be a golden opportunity for businesses to take clients out for a relaxed afternoon on the bay to socialise and experience the camaraderie that comes with yachting. The southern venture will culminate with the iconic Brisbane to Gladstone Yacht Race in April, the second oldest offshore race after the Sydney to Hobart.
